Dr. Karen Keane , an expert in sports science and nutrition, will be giving a talk on Nutrition for Sport in the School Hall, Ballinderreen on Friday 17th January at 7pm. It it really important for both parents and kids to attend to build a better understanding of healthy nutrition and how it benefits you in both life and sport.

Unfortunately, the road hurling event scheduled to take place tomorrow has been cancelled due to inclement weather conditions. The event will now be rescheduled for a date later this year.

Road Hurling on Sunday Unfortunately the event on New Year’s Eve had to be cancelled due to the weather conditions. It has been moved to this Sunday, the 5th of January, but is weather dependent. Registration will open at 11:15am in the community room with the competition starting at 11:45am. The event is open to all ages/abilities. Cost of entry is €10 with the proceeds going to Cancer Care West.
