U-11 & U-12s Skills Night

Our Under-11/12 finished off the year yesterday evening with a skills and games night. The lads were also joined by some of our senior hurlers.

HURLING AGM NOTICE

The Ballinderreen Hurling Club AGM will take place on Friday, 15th of November, at 7:30pm in the community centre.

Anyone is interested in joining the committee or would like to understand how you can help your club, please get in touch with any of the present committee to discuss.

Only 2024 members will be allowed to propose or second a proposal and vote on a proposal.

Finally, we encourage all members to attend the AGM so that you may exercise your right to a say in how your club is run. We also invite any prospective club members to attend.

REMINDER

The Camogie Club’s AGM will take place on Thursday 21st November in the school hall at 8.30pm.

JUVENILE CLUB AGM NOTICE

The Juvenile Club’s AGM will take place on Friday, 29th of November, in the school hall at 7:30pm.

SOCIAL CAMOGIE

A fun way to connect & promote the sport of Camogie among women of all ages and abilities.

Sessions will take place on Tuesday evenings from 8-9pm in the Astro in Ballinderreen.

Each participant will need a helmet hurl & water

Goalkeeping Coaching Session

There will be a goalkeeping coaching session on Saturday 23rd Nov, 11-1pm, led by Willie Banks (intercounty goalkeeping coach and Head of Goalkeeping at Dublin Hurling’s Talent Academy)

This session is aimed primarily at coaches but goalkeepers are also invited to attend to view the session.

Noel Tierney

Ballinderreen Hurling & Camogie Club would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Noel Tierney and all at Milltown GAA club. Noel, who was the full-back in the 3-in-a-row All-Ireland winning Galway football team of the 1960s, passed away earlier this week.

Noel won the Texaco Player of the Year award in 1964 and celebrated the 60th anniversary of this win last week where he was joined by Paul Conroy, the 2024 Footballer of the Year.

Table Quiz

There will be a table quiz held in Jordan’s on Friday, 22nd of November, at 8:30pm in aid of Cancer Care West.

Tickets on the door.
