JUVENILE CLUB AGM NOTICE
The Juvenile Club’s AGM will take place on Friday, 29th of November, in the school hall at 7:30pm.
All team reports will be read out at the AGM.

A fun way to connect & promote the sport of Camogie among women of all ages and abilities.
Sessions take place on Tuesday evenings from 8-9pm in the Astro in Ballinderreen.

ClubZap
Ballinderreen Hurling & Camogie Club is moving to use ClubZap.
How Do I Get Started?
- Download the application from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
- Setup your ClubZap account using an email address and password
- Follow Ballinderreen Hurling and Camogie Club
Why Was The Change Made?
Ballinderreen has been using ClubForce for a number of years to handle membership, lotto and communications. As the club’s contract with the Clubforce was coming to an end, it was decided to look at other applications available on the market.
ClubZap has similar administration features to Clubforce in relation to the lotto and membership.
One of the distinguishing features that ClubZap provides is that it allows for team communications and administration to be centralized in the app.
What Does This Mean?
For Coaches/Managers
- Coaches will be able to organise events such as training and matches that will be included in the squad member’s schedule on the app.
- Coaches can schedule reminders that can be sent to the players
- Coaches can track attendance of players to training and matches
- Coaches won’t have to use WhatsApp or any other messaging application as ClubZap can be used for team communications
ClubZap provides free online training for coaches on how to best use the application on a weekly basis.
For Players/Parents
- The app has a schedule where events created by coaches will be added automatically
- Changes to the time/location of events will be updated automatically in the app
- Players/Parents can respond to messages to confirm whether they will be attending a match or training
For Members
- News notifications received directly on your phone
- Membership can be paid using ClubZap
- Lotto can be played using ClubZap
What Will Change?
- Communications from the club will eventually move away from using WhatsApp groups to ClubZap
- ClubZap does not have a bulk email feature at this time so the newsletter won’t be sent to members’ email addresses unless requested.
- ClubZap provides a club website as part of their service that may be used to publish news
General Election 2024
Election Day is this Friday, 29th of November. The polls will be open in Ballinderreen Community Centre from 7am until 10pm.
Table Quiz
The organisers of the table quiz that took place last Friday would like to thank all of the people who contributed. Almost €1000 was raised for the Maura Burke Memorial Fund supporting Cancer Care West.

Ballinderreen Hurling and Camogie would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of Josephine Finnegan (née Quinn) from Drumacoo who passed away recently.

Search for Máire Ní Fhátharta
The family of Máire Ní Fhátharta have offered their thanks for all the volunteers that helped in the search to bring her home.
To everyone involved,
We would like to say a massive thank you to you all for everything you have done between searching, organising, delivering, donating and all the other things that we may not even be aware of. Your generosity, kindness, dedication and hope have helped us bring our beautiful Máire home.
We will be forever in your debt and Máire can finally rest in peace.
