Camogie Short Pre-Order

img

The Camogie Association has recently updated its match-day gear rules, now allowing players to wear either shorts or skorts, as long as the team wears a matching kit.

After careful consideration, the club executive has decided to retain our current skort as the official playing gear for now. We explored various options and suppliers for shorts, focusing on consistency and long-term availability.

O'Neill’s will soon list these shorts on our club shop, and we have chosen to proceed with them. Please note: the shorts must be plain navy, feature the camogie crest, and have no stripes. A matching skort in the same design remains acceptable.

The standard retail price will be €22 (excluding VAT) for adult sizes and €17 for juvenile sizes.

To support players during this transition, the club executive will place a once-off bulk order and subsidise the cost. An online order window will be open via ClubZap from Wednesday, July 23rd 9pm to Saturday, July 26th 6pm

For this pre-order, the shorts will be available at a discounted price of €15, with the club covering the balance. Further details on how to order via ClubZap will be shared shortly.

Our Social Camogie members played in their first blitz

The Connacht Social Camogie blitz hosted by Craughwell Camogie Club on Saturday 20th July

They played three games against Ardrahan Camogie Club, Ballina Stephenites GAA Club and Rahoon/Newcastle GAA Club.

Lots of banter and craic on and off the field, and they even managed to score a few goals on the day too. Looking forward to more outings in the coming months. A big thank you from all the team to John Gill for coaching and putting up with us

New players are always welcome. Get in touch with Maura on 087 2996212 for more details
