All-Ireland Semi-Final Tickets
Galway Co Board are proposing that the allocation of tickets for the upcoming All Ireland Hurling Semi Final on Saturday 4th July in Croke Park be distributed through the Clubs.
If you are interested in attending the game please contact Mary Sweeney (087-2048057) by phone or text, specifying type of ticket required no later than 3pm on Wednesday 17th June.
Please note that there is no guarantee that we will receive the allocation that we look for.
Ticket prices are as follows:

Bus to All-Ireland Semi-Final
The club will provide a bus to the All-Ireland semi-final depending on numbers.
All kids (U16’s) have to be accompanied by their parent/s.
The cost is €30 per adult and €10 per child. The will leave around 9:30am and arrive home around 9:30pm.
€10 non refundable Revolut payment holds seat/s, subject to minimum numbers.

South Galway Bay Music Festival 2026
The South Galway Bay Music Festival will take place from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July. The full line-up of acts can be viewed above.
Key Information:
- The festival is open to all ages.
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
- There will be no discounted Under 16 tickets available online.
- Weekend Under 16 tickets (€20) will be made available within the community closer to the event.
Adult Weekend Tickets:
- Online weekend ticket price: €70
- Community weekend ticket price: €60
Discounted community tickets will not be available online. These tickets will be available to purchase through Hurling Club and Camogie Club Committee members, as well as Adult Hurling and Camogie players.

Commiserations to the Ballinderreen National School hurling team who lost their county final against Maree National School
Intercounty Games
The Galway camogie team won their game against Waterford 1-13 to 0-13.
The Galway minor hurling team lost their All-Ireland semi-final against Limerick 1-26 to 1-15.
Poc Fada
The Galway GAA Poc-Fada competition will take place in Galway GAA COE, Loughgeorge on Wednesday 24th of June with registration @ 6.45pm.
Galway GAA are inviting One adult participant and One U16 participant per club to take part.
The Winner and Runner Up of the Galway GAA Adult Poc-Fada and the Winner of the Galway U16 Poc-Fada will take part in the Provincial competition.
The provincial Poc-Fada competition will take place in Connacht COE, Bekan on Monday July 6th, 2026.
Sea to Summit Training Program
Keith Carr intends to run a 12 week training program to prepare for the Westport Sea to Summit Spirit event which takes place on Saturday, November 7th. The Spirit event consists of
- 4k run
- 8k cycle
- 4k Mountain run (Croagh Patrick)
- 11k cycle
- 4k run
The training program will begin in August. All fitness levels are welcome
The cost is €200 (which includes the face fee and accommodation for Friday night) or €280 (which includes the face fee and accommodation for Friday and Saturday night)
